Also, any conversations you engage in on MyPuppyPlanner.com will only show your full name and/or username.
How do I change my password or username?
You can easily change your password from the Account link at the top and bottom of each page once youre logged in. All you have to do is type in your current password as well as your new password... twice. Unfortunately usernames are permanent and cannot be changed unless deemed vulgar or inappropriate.
Can I change my email address that MPP has on file?
Of course! Simply go the Account page once logged in, type in your new email address and then wait for a confirmation email. Once that email comes in, click the link inside and youre ready to sign back into your account.

How do I get going on MyPuppyPlanner?
Before you jump into MyPuppyPlanner head first we recommend you register and then check out our tutorials. Our tutorials explain the basics of using and traversing MyPuppyPlanner. If youre more of the adventurous type then just log right in and add a dog! When you’re adding your dog be as thorough as possible – this will ensure accuracy in your dogs events and profile.
Why doesnt MyPuppyPlanner.com work on Internet Explorer 6 and below?
Internet Explorer is known for reading and displaying websites in an unconventional manner. Many sites that are heavy in JavaScript won’t work completely with older versions of Internet Explorer. Our site functions best using Google Chrome or FireFox but will work on the latest version of Internet Explorer.
Does every vet in your database accept appointments submitted online?
Not yet, vets must have an email on file as well as opt into Online Appointment Scheduling which requires frequent checks by the vet. If they dont check very often or their response times dont meet our standards we will remove their Online Scheduling capabilities. The vets in our vet finder/scheduler that have a colored Online Scheduling Enabled icon accept appointments online.
Well if my vet doesnt accept appointments online, why schedule an appointment through MPP?
Scheduling your vet appointments doesnt only attempt to contact your vet but also adds an event to your Planner that is linked with the events due during that visit. Once you mark the visit complete, all linked events are marked complete as well. This also will allow for the functionality in the medical report to show what was done on your last vet appointment.
I think something isnt functioning correctly, what do I do?
Submit a ticket via our support desk (while logged into your account). Your ticket should include a detailed description of what you were doing and the results that occurred. One of our support representatives will try to reproduce the error (so be as descriptive as possible) and then escalate it to our development department in order to issue a bug patch.
How do you know what my dog needs to be healthy?
We have done tons of research and talked with numerous vets to refine an ideal vaccination schedule and account for the different variables that would affect what your dogs needs are and when things are due. We then designed an algorithm to interpret your dog based on the details you enter when you add him/her and then add events to your planner accordingly.
Wait, doesnt MyPuppyPlanner.com have some sort of profile and networking?
Not as of yet, the profiling and networking capabilities are still under development and will be released in the version 2.0 update of the program. This will include custom profiles for each of your dogs as well as a profile for you (the dog owner). You can display as much or as little about your dogs as you wish.
How do I edit my dogs information?
You can edit your dogs information straight from your dogs health portfolio. Nearly everything is editable, just click on the text and it should highlight (if its editable). Once youre done making your changes, simply click Save Changes at the top of the page. For more detailed instructions visit our help forum and look under tutorials for text/image and video tutorials.
Grr, my image keeps getting cut off! How do I fix that?
Currently, the only way to ensure your image isnt cut off is to upload a square image. When your image is scaled to fit into the square frames on the site it will trim off the right side of your picture if it doesn’t have an equal width/height. A feature is under development that will allow you to reposition the image within its square frame.
I have an idea for a feature for the site, who do i tell?
We love feedback from our members! You can either email us directly at info@mypuppyplanner.com or you can post it in our help forums in the feature sections. You can get to these forums by click on the help link when you’re logged in and clicking on Features in the resources box on the left.
